Just Because you didn’t vote doesn’t mean you have no say

Posted on: July 26, 2017

I have read recently a number of posts on various social media locales that state that if you don’t vote in local elections, “don’t complain.”

Though I believe you should vote, I disagree with that sentiment. Because you pay taxes, you have the right to complain about what is happening with your tax dollars. Voting simply gives you greater control (hopefully) over what is done with those tax dollars.
